News from News Center (Text by: Wei Liuyu, School of Luosifen Industry Photo by: Luo Shihua, Publicity Department of Party Committee) On the morning of July 8, the Standardization Achievements Exhibition of School of Luosifen Industry and Launch of “‘Liujiangrenjia’ 2022 Standardized New Product” were held successfully at the School of Luosifen Industry of Liuzhou Vocational and Technical College (LVTC). This event was jointly hosted by the School of Luosifen Industry and Guangxi Zhongliu Food Technology Co., Ltd. Leaders from Liuzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Liuzhou Administration for Market Regulation, Liuzhou Municipal Education Bureau, Liuzhou Luosifen Association, Liuzhou Art Academy, Liuzhou Musicians Association, Liuzhou Dongke Smart City Investment and Development Co., Ltd., Guangxi Liuzhou Changlong Food Technology Co., Ltd., Liuzhou Luoxing Technology Co., Ltd., Guangxi Jiaxu Food Trading Co., Ltd., Liuzhou Lvzhu Food Technology Co., Ltd. and other units attended this event. The event was divided into two sessions: one is “Standardization Achievements Exhibition of School of Luosifen Industry”, the other is “ ‘Liujiangrenjia’ 2022 Standardized New Product Launch”. They were separately presided by Qu Fan, Vice President of LVTC and Wei Wanjing, Deputy General Manager of Marketing Center of Guangxi Zhongliu Food Technology Co., Ltd.

Liu Zilin, Secretary of the Party Committee of Liuzhou Vocational and Technical College, Jia Jiangong, Deputy Director of Liuzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce and Lv Zhongjie, Deputy Director of Liuzhou Administration for Market Regulation delivered speeches for Standardization Achievements Exhibition, respectively. Liu Zilin extended a warm welcome to all guests. He said, the standardization construction would promote the overall development of Luosifen industry and play a critical role in the transition from a major industry to a strong industry. Liuzhou Vocational and Technical College, as a vocational college serving the local economy, puts a high value on the standardization construction of Luosifen industry. Relying on School of Luosifen Industry, LVTC takes active part in formulating and publicizing standards for the whole industry chain of Liuzhou Luosifen and continues to maximize “empowerment”. By doing so, LVTC aims to become a strong supporter for the specialty industry development and an caring service provider for enterprises.

Jia Jiangong spoke highly of the achievement obtained from the school-enterprise cooperation. He talked about General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions on the high-quality development of Liuzhou Luosifen as well as the importance of standards. He also hoped that Luosifen production enterprises can fully implement existing standards to guarantee the food safety of each bowl of Luosifen produced in Liuzhou. Besides, he expected that LVTC could continue to provide guidance on Luosifen industry standardization and assist enterprises in implementing product standards and establishing standard system so as to provide strong support for enterprises’ high-quality development as well as quality and efficiency improvement.

Lv Zhongjie also praised the School of Luosifen Industry for its great contributions to the standard system building for the whole industry chain of Liuzhou Luosifen. As an “expert” and a “think tank”, the School gave full play of its roles in leading and guiding enterprises’ standardization construction as well as building a “standard” bridge for promoting the high-quality development of Luosifen. On the journey ahead toward the high-quality development of local economy and society, the School has shown the new responsibility it shouldered and the new achievement it realized. He anticipated that the School could vigorously promoting the typical experience and practice of the school-enterprise cooperation on implementing standards so as to help Liuzhou fully establish the standard system for the whole industry chain of Luosifen.

Cheng Fang, President of School of Luosifen Industry made a standardization achievement introduction titled Interpreting “Liuzhou Luosifen Standards” through “Liuzhou Luosifen” from three aspects: “standard formulation”, “standard publicizing and implementation” and “standard publicizing and implementation achievements”.

According to Cheng Fang, since July 2021, School of Luosifen Industry has taken the lead in formulating the first batch of Liuzhou’s local standards and formulated four parts of local standards concerning Liuzhou Luosifen, including Technical Code of Practice for Raw Materials of Pre-packed Liuzhou Luosifen Part 4: Sour Beans. From then on, the School officially started the work to formulate standards. In 2021, Office of Liuzhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government issued Implementation Plan for Building the Whole Industry Chain Standard System of Liuzhou Luosifen, which marked the formulation of such standards was in full swing. Based on the existing four standards, the School took on the formulation work of another nine standards. Up to now, nine local standards and three group standards drafted by the School have been issued and one group standard is at the approval stage. Upon the issuance of above standards, the School organized an expert team in the first place to initiate their publicizing. Besides, the School reached an agreement on standard publicizing and implementation with Guangxi Zhongliu Food Technology Co., Ltd., an executive director unit of the council of School of Luosifen Industry. According to the agreement, the School was responsible for providing service of standard publicizing and implementation for Guangxi Zhongliu Food Technology Co., Ltd. In the process of standard publicizing and implementation, as proposed by LVTC, the School and the company decided to set up a team of experts inside and outside the School to help the company check the processes from raw material procurement, processing and production, to marketing and circulation against the standard, and on this basis, produce a product that meets the new standard of Liuzhou Luosifen, so as to interpret the standard with the product and support the standard with the product. A product that meets the new standard will be a direct response to the important instruction of General Secretary Xi “to hold the quality and safety gate and promote standardization and branding”.

Subsequently, Li Wenqi, senior engineer, an expert in the standardization expert pool of School of Luosifen Industry, Deputy Director of Guangxi Light Industry Product Quality Inspection Station, Xie Xiaoyu, the school expert representative, Associate Professor of School of Environmental and Food Engineering of LVTC, Chen Xiumei, the representative of the enterprise side, Production Director of Guangxi Zhongliu Food Technology Co., Ltd., and Wang Hongxing, General Manager of Guangxi Shangyuan Food Co., Ltd., made an speech from the perspectives of industry standardization expert, standard publicizing and implementation expert, standard executing enterprise, and leading industry enterprise, respectively. Li Wenqi, who is a standardization expert of Liuzhou Luosifen industry, highly praised the standardization construction work of School of Luosifen Industry, saying that standard publicizing and implementation is an important and indispensable part of standard formulation. The School of Luosifen Industry puts that into practice to ensure that the standard is truly executed after formulation, which is very meaningful. Xie Xiaoyu introduced the work of publicizing and implementation expert team, including visiting upstream manufacturers, factory areas and the live room of enterprises, identifying problems, making rectification plans, working out technical documents, writing reports on publicizing and implementation work, etc., for the purpose of helping enterprises to execute the standard concretely. Chen Xiumei talked about the challenges faced by the enterprise in the process of standardization and the efforts made, as well as the determination and execution of standardization within the enterprise from managers to front-line employees. Wang Hongxing, as a representative of the leading enterprise in the industry, expressed Shangyuan's awareness of standardization construction, determination to implement the new standard and the desire to cooperate with LVTC in standardization.

Xiong Chaoxuan, Chairman of Guangxi Zhongliu Food Technology Co., Ltd., delivered a speech for the launch of “‘Liujiangrenjia’ 2022 Standardized New Products”, explaining the great importance that enterprises attach to the construction of the standard system, talking about the pains and difficult choices faced by enterprises in the process of implementing the new standard, and also expressing Zhongliu's confidence and determination to take this standardization as a new opportunity to strictly control product quality and safety and continuously improve product quality, so as to meet consumers’ requirements for high-quality and fast life.

The launch of “‘Liujiangrenjia’ 2022 Standardized New Products” is not only a new attempt of Guangxi Zhongliu Food Technology Co., Ltd., as a head enterprise in the standardization of enterprise products and Liuzhou Luosifen culture, but also another outstanding performance of School of Luosifen Industry to empower the high-quality development of the industry, as instructed by General Secretary Xi Jinping that “the development of special industries is a major practical move to make the real economy stronger and better, and should be combined with its own conditions and advantages to promote high quality development”. The standard system construction of the whole industry chain for Liuzhou Luosifen is an extremely important step to promote the high-quality development of Liuzhou Luosifen industry. The formulation of standards is just the first step, while the publicizing and implementation of standards will be one of the important work of the Liuzhou Luosifen industry for a long time in the future. As an “empowering” industry college, School of Luosifen Industry has a long way to go, but it will continue to explore and seek progress, as always, to help the standardized development and empower the high-quality growth of Luosifen Industry.
